China Hubei Province Reports 411 New COVID-19 Cases and 115 Additional Deaths (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] In Hubei Province, China, the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 411, and an additional 115 deaths were reported. This is similar to the previous day's new confirmed cases of 394 and deaths of 114.
On the 21st, the National Health Commission of China (NHC) announced that as of midnight, there were 411 new confirmed cases and 115 additional deaths in Hubei Province, China.
As a result, the total cumulative number of confirmed cases in China reached 75,465, and the cumulative number of deaths increased to 2,236.
The NHC has been using the "clinical diagnosis case" method for the past week, which confirms cases through additional lung CT scans if symptoms such as fever appear, even if the existing test method shows a negative result.
