[Breaking News] Obstruction on Gyeongui-Jungang Line Overhead Wire Causes Train Delays
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Railroad announced that at around 7:02 AM on the 21st, a catenary line malfunction occurred on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line between Seobinggo and Yongsan, causing train delays.
Due to the catenary line malfunction, electric trains on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line have suspended operations between Cheongnyangni and Yongsan (via Wangsimni). Korea Railroad urged passengers using the electric trains to use alternative transportation.
However, the Gangneung Line KTX trains are currently operating normally between Cheongnyangni and Gangneung, so customers using Seoul Station can use Cheongnyangni Station instead.
