Gwanak-gu and Seoul National University Jointly Recruit Students for the 31st Gwanak Citizen University Course

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is recruiting students for the 31st Gwanak Citizen University until March 5.
Gwanak Citizen University is a representative academic-government cooperation project jointly conducted by the district and Seoul National University, designed to share Seoul National University's excellent educational human resources and high-quality educational content with the local community.
Professors from the College of Education at Seoul National University, the top university in Korea, provide high-level educational lectures in various fields such as literature, history, culture, society, and science. In addition to regular classes, outdoor educational programs such as tours of Seoul National University are also planned.
This course will begin with an opening ceremony at 7 p.m. on March 11 and will be held for a total of 15 weeks until June 24, every Wednesday from 7 p.m. for 2 hours on the 5th floor of the Gwanak-gu Lifelong Learning Center.
Those wishing to enroll can apply by signing up on the Gwanak-gu Office website starting February 19, or apply in person or by phone.
The tuition fee is 50,000 KRW, and 55 students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of applicants is insufficient, residents from other districts may also apply.
Mayor Park Junhee said, "Gwanak Citizen University is an organic lifelong education integration platform involving the district, Seoul National University, and residents," and added, "We ask for the interest and participation of residents who are eager to learn."
