The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced on the 18th that it signed a business agreement with major companies providing the 'School Notification Service' at the Southern Office of the Gyeonggi Education Office in Suwon to promptly inform and share with parents the status of student and staff infections, school closure and suspension schedules, and other information during crisis situations such as the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) outbreak.
The 'School Notification Service' is an application service that shares major academic schedules, home communications, surveys, and more from schools and kindergartens with parents. Currently, more than 2 million parents in the province use various companies' 'School Notification Services.'
The major companies participating in the agreement on this day include Icecream Media, NHN Edu, Iut.com, and Classting.
