President Im Jong-seok, Special Envoy, Visits United Arab Emirates... Strengthening Partnership on 40th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The presidential special envoy delegation, led by Im Jong-seok, Special Diplomatic Advisor for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is scheduled to visit the UAE from the 18th to the 20th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
The special envoy delegation will meet with senior leaders of the UAE government to discuss practical cooperation measures across various fields including politics, diplomacy, economy, and defense, aiming to further strengthen the special strategic partnership between Korea and the UAE in the 40th anniversary year of diplomatic relations.

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained, "Since his appointment in January 2019, Im Jong-seok, Special Diplomatic Advisor for the UAE, has maintained close cooperative relations with high-ranking UAE officials, including Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the head of the administrative office."
