Targeting 593 Locations Including Daein Market
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station (Chief Yang Younggyu) announced on the 18th that it will conduct a special fire inspection on 593 fire safety targets in Daein Market and Chungjangno 5-ga, fire watch districts in the jurisdiction, until the 26th.
A 'fire watch district' refers to an area where the risk of fire occurrence is high or where significant human and property damage is expected in the event of a fire.
The special fire inspection includes checking whether the persons responsible have carried out fire safety management duties and prepared fire safety plans, verifying the proper installation and maintenance of fire facilities such as fire extinguishers, and conducting fire safety education to raise fire prevention awareness among the responsible persons.
