President Moon's Approval Rating: Positive 46.6% vs Negative 49.7% [Realmeter]
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Negative evaluations of President Moon Jae-in's administration have surpassed positive evaluations for the second consecutive week.
According to Realmeter's survey commissioned by YTN conducted from the 10th to the 14th, the positive evaluation of President Moon's administration dropped by 0.3 percentage points from the previous week's aggregate to 46.6%, announced on the 17th. Negative evaluations rose by 0.5 percentage points to 49.7%.
With negative evaluations leading positive evaluations for two consecutive weeks and showing a mixed trend within the margin of error, regions such as Daegu·Gyeongbuk (negative evaluation 60.5%→66.2%) and Busan·Ulsan·Gyeongnam (negative evaluation 57.3%→60.0%) in the Yeongnam area saw negative evaluations exceed 60%.
However, positive evaluations increased in groups such as Gyeonggi·Incheon (positive evaluation 49.3%→52.5%), women (positive evaluation 47.6%→49.8%), and housewives (positive evaluation 37.9%→41.2%), partially offsetting the negative trend.
In party support, the Democratic Party recorded 39.9%, down 0.3 percentage points from the previous week, while the Liberty Korea Party rose 1.8 percentage points to 32.0%, narrowing the gap with the Democratic Party to 7.9 percentage points.

The Justice Party fell 0.5 percentage points to 4.8%, the New Conservative Party dropped 0.2 percentage points to 3.9%, and the Bareunmirae Party decreased 0.7 percentage points to 2.6%. Additionally, the Party for Democracy and Peace (1.5%), the Minjung Party (1.3%), the Our Republican Party (1.2%), and the Alternative New Party (0.9%) recorded support rates around 1%.
This survey contacted 43,219 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, with a final response of 2,516, resulting in a response rate of 5.8%. The sampling error is ±2.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. For more details, refer to the Central Election Survey Deliberation Commission website.
