Seoul City Recruits Individual and Group Volunteers for Hangang Park... Activities Start in April
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will recruit individual volunteers (120 people) and groups (65 teams) to participate in volunteer activities at 11 Hangang Parks this year from the 14th of this month until the 12th of next month.
Hangang Park volunteers will engage in activities from April to December throughout the Hangang Parks, including plogging (picking up trash while jogging), bicycle safety guidance, and operating cultural and artistic experience programs.
Eligibility for application requires individual volunteers to be citizens aged 20 or older who reside in or have activity bases in Seoul, and volunteer groups must consist of five or more members from elementary, middle, or high schools located in Seoul, companies, or civic organizations.
Individuals and groups with continuous activities for more than two years and over 200 hours of volunteer work will also have the opportunity to receive awards from the Seoul Mayor and others.
