Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Confirms Regular Appointment of 10 Key Position Candidates

Jung Hye-ja, director of the Innovation Education Division at the headquarters, was appointed as the director of Jeonnam Student Education and Culture Center; Jung Jong-hyuk, superintendent of the Teacher Personnel Division at the headquarters, was appointed as director of the Elementary and Early Childhood Education Division; Kim Tae-moon, director of Jeonnam Education Research and Information Institute, was appointed as director of the Policy Planning Division of the Policy Bureau; Lee Byung-sam, planning director of Jeonnam Student Education Center, was appointed as director of the Democratic Civic Life Education Division; Kim Sun-chi, information director of Jeonnam Education Research and Information Institute, was appointed as director of the Physical Education, Health, and Arts Division; Jung Deok-won, director of the Education Welfare Division at the headquarters, was appointed as director of the Innovation Education Division; and Wi Kyung-jong, director of the Curriculum Division, was appointed as director of the Secondary Education Division.
Regarding this personnel appointment, the provincial office focused on selecting talents capable of implementing the philosophy and policies of Innovative Jeonnam Education at the school level, breaking away from the traditional seniority-based personnel practices by appointing a female director and promoting a research officer without principal experience to a director position at the headquarters, emphasizing competency-based appointments.
