Democratic Party Songpa Gap District Committee Donates Funds to Support COVID-19 Affected Areas
Requested the Korean Red Cross to deliver 10.04 million KRW to residents of Wuhan, China suffering from COVID-19 as a humanitarian and humanistic support gesture
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The Democratic Party of Korea's Songpa Gap District Committee (former chairman and National Assembly candidate Jo Jae-hee) visited the Korean Red Cross on the 12th to support areas affected by COVID-19, donating 10.04 million won.
The Songpa Gap District Committee, led by party members, conducted a fundraising campaign, collecting a total of 10.04 million won.
The district committee requested the Korean Red Cross to deliver the funds to residents of Wuhan, China, who are suffering from COVID-19, as a humanitarian and humanitarian aid effort.
So far, the Songpa Gap District Committee has formed a special countermeasure committee (Chairman Young-han Yoon, Chairman of the Songpa District Administrative and Health Committee) and has been working to end COVID-19 early through local quarantine activities.
