The E&M, MOU with NGO under Ministry of Gender Equality and Family... "Promoting Global Culture Support Project"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Comprehensive entertainment company THE E&M announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a strategic business partnership with the International Youth Culture Exchange Federation, a non-profit organization.
THE E&M, together with the International Youth Culture Exchange Federation, will jointly carry out promotional activities to widely publicize Korean culture domestically and internationally, camp activities, and overseas cultural exchange projects. The purpose is to protect and nurture youth living in underdeveloped areas domestically and abroad, as well as those in regions deprived of cultural activities.
The first project plans to utilize THE E&M’s real-time broadcasting platform, "CelebTV," to conduct an outstanding talent discovery project by incorporating the trend of Generation Z youth consuming content via smartphones.
The International Youth Culture Exchange Federation, registered under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, is an organization established to support youth aged 9 to 26. It maintains a close cooperative relationship with the WPIAF Foundation, affiliated with the United Nations Non-Governmental Organization Committee on Sustainable Development (UN-NGO CSD) in Los Angeles, USA, and is dedicated to fostering global young talent. Currently, it operates various cultural exchange events for youth through 10 overseas branches including China, the Philippines, and Cambodia, as well as 10 domestic branches and 15 operating committees.
