Chosun Polytechnic University Decides to Postpone Semester Start Date to Next Month 16th
Degree Conferral Ceremony and Entrance Ceremony Canceled... Graduation Gowns to Be Distributed by Department
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun Institute of Technology (President Jo Soon-gye) announced on the 10th that the start date of the first semester of the 2020 academic year, originally scheduled for the 2nd of next month, will be postponed by two weeks to the 16th.
Additionally, the 2019 academic year graduation ceremony scheduled for the 21st and the 2020 academic year entrance ceremony originally planned for the 28th have both been canceled.
Award presentations related to the graduation ceremony will be held separately on a smaller scale in the presentation room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters building, and diplomas, graduation albums, and graduation gowns will be distributed by department to create lasting memories for the students.
The entrance ceremony and overall orientation will not be held, and only university life guidebooks will be distributed later through each department.
Chosun Institute of Technology recently placed hand sanitizers and masks in all university departments and student convenience facilities, and also conducted internal disinfection of the campus.
