According to foreign media including the AP News, on the 8th, at a military base near Nakhon Ratchasima City in northeastern Thailand, Senior Sergeant Chakraphan Thomma shot and killed the base commander and the commander's mother-in-law, then stole weapons from the base armory and moved to a city shopping mall where he opened fire. So far, at least 20 people have died and 31 have been injured, with Thai health authorities stating that the death toll may rise.
