Hwasun-gun, Open Library Closure and Suspension of Senior Job Projects
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun County, Jeollanam-do (County Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 7th that it will temporarily close the Open Library from the 8th to the 20th and suspend the senior job projects until the end of this month.
The county decided to close the Open Library to block the local inflow and spread of the novel coronavirus and will completely suspend cultural events such as cultural programs and free movie screenings for residents.
The 15 senior job projects, which are scheduled to involve 4,674 seniors with an investment of 15.3 billion KRW this year, will also be suspended from the 10th to the 28th.
Small and large events and programs such as the Youth Culture House, Dream Start, After School Academy, agricultural education, and Daljip burning will also not be operated.
The county plans to decide on extending the suspension period for multi-use facilities and projects considering the spread of the novel coronavirus.
