[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Saudi Arabia banned its citizens and foreigners residing in the country from traveling to China on the 6th (local time) due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on the same day, "This measure was taken in response to the novel coronavirus infection outbreak in China," and added, "If citizens and foreign residents violate this and are found to have visited China, they will not be allowed to re-enter Saudi Arabia."
