On the 6th, Incheon Medical Center announced that Ms. A (35), a Chinese national and patient number 1, delivered a letter of thanks written in English to the medical staff at Incheon Medical Center on the 5th.
In the letter, Ms. A wrote, "I wrote this letter to sincerely express my gratitude for what you did for me while I was suffering in the midst of disaster," and said, "Thank you for saving my life."
She expressed her gratitude, saying, "All of you are heroes to me, and I will never forget this experience," and "I have learned a lot from you and will do my best to help others for the rest of my life."
She added, "It is hard to imagine what would have happened to me and my family if it were not for your advanced medical technology and professional attitude."
She also said, "Once again, thank you to you and your government," and "When we overcome this pain, I hope you visit my hometown. You are my best guest and friend."
Meanwhile, Ms. A is a 35-year-old Chinese woman who entered Korea from Wuhan (武漢), China, on the 19th of last month. She was tested at the airport due to symptoms such as fever and was confirmed as the first domestic case on the 20th of last month and was isolated at Incheon Medical Center.

Ms. A experienced respiratory symptoms three days after being admitted to Incheon Medical Center.
