Due to the recent occurrence of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the nearby city of Gwangju, the decision was made to temporarily suspend the performances to prevent community spread.
The resumption of the Saturday Folk Travel performances will be announced later on the official website after comprehensively considering the virus spread situation.
A representative from the Jindo-gun Culture, Arts and Sports Department said, “Although it is regrettable that the performances are temporarily suspended, we promise to prepare well during the break and return with even more refined performances.”
