Homeplus Launches 'Europe Specialty Section' Within Mobile App
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Homeplus announced on the 6th that it has created a 'Europe Specialty Hall' within its mobile application, gathering overseas products that domestic customers have rarely encountered.
Named 'Europe in The Europe I Loved,' this specialty hall reflects Homeplus's ambition to become 'the retailer that knows Europe best' by strengthening its global sourcing capabilities through joining EMD (European Marketing Distribution AG) and opening a UK office.
Customers can access over 120 products through the Europe Specialty Hall, including various foods such as chocolate, pasta, and sauces, as well as non-food items. They can also shop by country, such as Italy, Germany·Poland, Belgium·France·UK·Spain, and purchase all European products except alcoholic beverages.
