[Photo] Seongdong-gu Dong Community Center Staff Leading Building Disinfection Efforts
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Employees of the Dong Community Centers in Seongdong-gu (District Mayor Jeong Wono) have recently undertaken their own disinfection activities to ensure the safety of visitors to the community centers as well as residents using the community halls and fitness centers amid the spread of the coronavirus.
Since the 2nd, about 100 employees from 9 out of the 17 dongs have directly engaged in disinfection work, and the remaining 8 dongs are expected to complete the first round of disinfection by the 7th.
They thoroughly disinfected all facilities and fixtures within and outside the government buildings, including the community center civil service offices, meeting rooms, fitness centers, restrooms, elevators, telephones, furniture, floors, stairs, entrance door handles, and toilet levers?covering all areas frequently touched by residents.
