Damyang-gun Announces Recruitment for '1st Women's Center Education Course Participants'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 5th that it will recruit the "1st Women's Center Education Students" from the 10th to the 21st.
This education program, conducted to develop women's potential through customized education tailored to regional characteristics and to create a healthy social participation atmosphere for women through hobby activities, is divided into employment/startup classes and lifestyle culture classes.
The employment and startup courses include a total of 12 subjects: caregiver, board game instructor, home fashion, anggeum flower, nail art, tailoring, dressmaker technician, barista level 2 certification class, side dish store startup class, OA computer utilization, baking technician, and more.
The lifestyle culture classes offer a total of 8 subjects: singing class, ocarina & ukulele, pottery craft, bamboo charcoal craft, calligraphy, making everyday cooking, coffee barista, and botanical art.
In particular, this year, new courses have been added: the dressmaker technician course, which teaches how to create patterns according to design and measurements, and the botanical art course, which acquires refined expression techniques based on themes such as plants, flowers, and fruits.
This program is targeted at those residing in the county and will be operated for five months from next month until July.
The tuition fee is 10,000 KRW per person per month, and it is free for basic livelihood security recipients, families of national merit recipients, persons with disabilities, single-parent families, seniors aged 65 or older, and multicultural families.
