Lotte Cultureworks Sparks Box Office Frenzy with Vietnamese Films Locally
Lotte Cultureworks announced on the 3rd that the film "Gaizia Lam Chieu 3," invested in and produced by its Vietnam subsidiary, was released during the country's largest holiday, Tet, and achieved box office success. On its opening day, the 25th of last month, the film recorded an audience share of over 50%, attracting approximately 200,000 viewers. Continuing its upward trend, it surpassed 1 million cumulative viewers within six days, setting the record for the fastest Vietnamese film to reach 1 million viewers.
"Gaizia Lam Chieu 3" depicts the war between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law competing for the family heirloom. The blend of romance and drama has attracted a diverse audience. Lotte Cultureworks not only invested and distributed the film but also jointly participated in planning and overall production with the local production company, "Maxis Production."
