"Annyeong" is a ballad expressing the emotional changes of a man who has experienced a breakup. Producer Jung Key, known for his emotional songs, wrote the lyrics and composed the music.
Regarding this, Swing Entertainment explained, "It is a meeting between Kim Jaehwan, who has delicate expressiveness, and Jung Key, a representative producer of emotional music."
Meanwhile, Kim Jaehwan gained public recognition by finishing 4th in the final round of Mnet's audition program "Produce 101 Season 2" aired in 2017. He was active as a member of the group "Wanna One" for about one year and six months, and began his solo career by releasing his first solo album on May 20 last year.
