Gwangju City Delivers Relief Meal Vehicles to the Korean Red Cross
Capable of Cooking 600 Servings at Once and Equipped with Its Own Power Generator
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 31st that it delivered a relief meal vehicle to the Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross.
The relief meal vehicle was modified from a 5-ton vehicle with a support fund of 150 million won and can cook 600 servings at a time.
It is also equipped with the latest cooking facilities and a self-generator, making it usable even at disaster sites where electricity supply is difficult.
The Gwangju-Jeonnam branch of the Korean Red Cross plans to use this relief meal vehicle at disaster relief sites and various volunteer activities.
