[Samsung SDI Concall] "Growth Trajectory to Rise Centered on EV Batteries"
On the 30th, during the conference call for the fourth quarter results of last year, Samsung SDI stated, "This year, we expect not only top-line growth compared to last year but also a significant improvement in profitability," adding, "We will enter a full-fledged growth trajectory centered on automotive batteries this year."
They also announced, "Regarding electric vehicle batteries, we plan to expand capacity mainly at the Hungary plant in response to increased volume."
Furthermore, they said, "The Hungary line, which has been operating since the first half of last year, has no issues with yield, and we are striving to raise it to the level of the Ulsan plant."
