Jin Se-yeon Offered Lead Role and Under Discussion
[Asia Economy Guest Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Jang Ki-yong and Lee Soo-hyuk have been confirmed to appear in KBS 2TV's new drama 'Born Again,' and Jin Se-yeon is considering the role of the female lead.
‘Born Again,’ a reincarnation mystery melodrama, depicts the fate and resurrection of three men and women intertwined through two lives.
Set in the 1980s, the drama will unfold a story of two men and one woman who are resurrected in the present day with different appearances and fiercely fall in love once again. Jin Se-yeon has been offered the role of the female lead Jung Ha-eun and is positively reviewing the offer.
In this new drama, Lee Soo-hyuk plays detective Cha Hyung-bin in the 1980s and prosecutor Kim Soo-hyuk in the present day, who believes in crime DNA. He is expected to showcase his acting skills portraying a devoted detective and a cold-hearted prosecutor.
Jang Ki-yong portrays the lonely wolf Gong Ji-cheol, who rejects fate, and elite medical student Cheon Jong-beom, alternating between the 1980s and the present day. As this is his first time taking on a dual role since his debut, expectations for this role are high.
