Ericsen, Leaves Tottenham to Join Inter Milan Confirmed... Transfer Fee 26 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Ju-hee] Christian Eriksen (27), who played as a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur, has confirmed his transfer to Italian professional football club Inter Milan.
Inter Milan announced Eriksen's signing on the club's official website and Twitter on the 29th (Korean time). The contract period is until June 30, 2024.
Eriksen moved from Ajax (Netherlands) to Tottenham in the summer of 2013 and played as a key midfielder in the Premier League for over seven years, but he had continuous conflicts over contract renewal with Tottenham.
It is reported that Inter Milan paid Tottenham a transfer fee of approximately 20 million euros (about 26 billion KRW), and Eriksen is expected to receive a salary of 6.5 million pounds (about 10 billion KRW) per season from Inter Milan.
Taking on a new challenge and playing in Italy's Serie A, Eriksen expressed, "I am happy to join a big club like Inter Milan. I will do my best."
