Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station Promotes 'One Fire Extinguisher per Vehicle' Campaign
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station (Chief Yang Younggyu) announced on the 28th that it visited automobile repair shops to promote the 'One Fire Extinguisher per Vehicle' campaign in order to reduce vehicle fire damage.
Through this campaign, they visited 13 automobile repair shops in Dong-gu district and informed the repair shop personnel about the importance of installing vehicle fire extinguishers and the related installation regulations.
The repair shop personnel plan to inform citizens using the repair shops about the guidance received to encourage the installation of fire extinguishers.
Yang Younggyu, Chief of Dongbu Fire Station, said, "Since early suppression is crucial in vehicle fires, vehicles should be equipped with fire extinguishers to prepare for vehicle fires."
