US 'Wuhan Pneumonia' Cases Rise to 5... 2 More Confirmed in One Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection, known as 'Wuhan pneumonia,' has increased to five in the United States.
On the 26th (local time), U.S. health authorities announced that the fifth confirmed case of Wuhan pneumonia was reported in Maricopa, Arizona.
On the same day, the fourth confirmed case was reported in Los Angeles County, California, marking an increase of two cases within a day.
So far, confirmed cases of Wuhan pneumonia have been reported in Orange County, California; near Seattle, Washington; and Chicago, Illinois. All five patients have been confirmed to have visited Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the virus.
