BTS to Appear at the Grammy Awards... First Performance by a Korean Artist Ever
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] The group BTS is set to perform on the stage of the GRAMMY Awards, becoming the first Korean singer to do so.
The GRAMMY Awards officially announced on the 23rd through their official website that BTS will appear at the "62nd GRAMMY Awards" held on the 26th (local time) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA.
Regarding this, the GRAMMY side stated, "There will be 'GRAMMY Moments'," and announced that stars including BTS, Billy Ray Cyrus, Diplo, Lil Nas X, and Mason Ramsey will perform on stage.
With this, BTS will attend the GRAMMY Awards for the second consecutive year, becoming the first Korean singer to do so. Previously, BTS appeared on the GRAMMY stage for the first time last year as presenters.
Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to release their fourth full-length album, "Map of the Soul: 7," on February 21.
