Mayor Kwon visited 10 social welfare facilities including Jindallae Village, Dongbaekwon, Ae-an Pyeongan Nursing Home, and Seokchang Regional Children's Center to check on the well-being of the elderly and children, delivering Yeosu gift certificates, local specialties, fruits, and other consolation items while conveying New Year greetings.
The Yeosu Deputy Mayor and senior officials also visited welfare facilities, and the heads of eup, myeon, and dong districts collaborated with local philanthropists, institutions, and organizations to care for vulnerable groups during the winter season in welfare blind spots, leading efforts to create a warm Lunar New Year atmosphere filled with compassion.
