Erika Garata Admits Affair Rumors: "I Will Reflect"
Japanese actress Garata Erika, familiar to domestic audiences through the drama ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ and a mobile phone commercial, has admitted to allegations of an extramarital affair raised in Japan and issued an apology.
Garata's Korean agency, BH Entertainment, stated on the 23rd, “We sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people.” They added, “Garata is currently reflecting and remorseful,” and “We deeply bow our heads and offer our sincere apologies to the family members, fans, and related parties who have been greatly hurt by this incident.” Garata’s local agency also released a similar statement.

Earlier, the Japanese media Weekly Bunshun reported that Garata was in an extramarital relationship with Higashide Masahiro, who co-starred with her in the film ‘Asako.’ Higashide, who is also actor Watanabe Ken’s son-in-law, is reportedly currently separated from his wife, Anne.
