President Moon's Daughter: "Taking Legal Action Against Kwak Sang-do... It's Hard to Endure When My Child Is Involved"
"The current events are close to stalking"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Moon Dahye (37), daughter of President Moon Jae-in, has announced legal action against Gwak Sang-do, a member of the Liberty Korea Party.
In an interview with Kukmin Ilbo on the 23rd, Moon stated that Gwak's claim on the 21st that her son attends an international school in Bangkok, Thailand, with an annual tuition of 40 million won was "an excessive spread of false information about my family," adding, "I have appointed a lawyer and plan to take civil and criminal legal measures."
Moon added, "I can tolerate talk about me, but touching my child is truly unbearable."
She also said, "I am not living a life of luxury just because I am the president's child; rather, I suffer more harm," and questioned, "How much more of my and my family's private life must be consumed to tarnish the president?"
She continued, "What is happening now is close to stalking. Especially sacrificing a young child for political purposes is intolerable," emphasizing, "Gwak continues to talk without evidence, using phrases like 'I heard' or 'If not, then forget it.'"
Earlier, on the 21st, Gwak claimed at the National Assembly, "I have confirmed that President Moon's daughter Moon Dahye's son attends a top-tier international school in Bangkok, Thailand, with an annual tuition of 40 million won."

In January last year, Gwak also mentioned that Moon's family had moved to Southeast Asia. He raised suspicions, saying, "There are rumors that 20 billion won was supported by the government to the company where Moon Dahye's husband, Mr. Seo, worked, and among this, 3 billion won was embezzled or improperly executed," adding, "Suspicions and speculations are rampant, such as Mr. Seo hurriedly transferring or disposing of assets to avoid seizure."
