The Youth Hotline 1388 is a phone service that provides counseling on everyday concerns of youth, as well as issues related to running away from home, school dropout, internet addiction, and more. Counseling is available not only through the landline 1388 but also via ▲(mobile phone) 031-1388 ▲online counseling at www.cyber1388.kr ▲text counseling at #1388, and ▲adding #1388 as a friend on KakaoTalk Plus Friend.
Not only youth but also parents with adolescent children can seek counseling when they have concerns about their relationship with their children. Counseling is especially available in various situations such as when a runaway youth has nowhere to go or needs rescue.
