Kim Dahyun, Dongshin University Student, Receives 'Outstanding Volunteer Award'
Naju Senior Welfare Center Recognized for Contributions to Practicing the Spirit of Sharing
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University announced on the 22nd that student Kim Dahyun (3rd year, Department of Social Welfare) received the 'Outstanding Volunteer Award' from the Naju Senior Welfare Center in recognition of her dedication to practicing the spirit of sharing.
From March to December last year, Kim Dahyun volunteered a total of 21 times, accumulating 73 hours, every Friday at the Naju Senior Welfare Center.
In the mornings, she assisted with administrative tasks to help the staff, and in the afternoons, she conducted Korean language classes for the elderly.

She currently serves as the president of 'Bokjisesang,' a major-related elderly welfare volunteer club at Dongshin University's Department of Social Welfare, and since her first year, she has been volunteering at the Naju Senior Welfare Center as well as other welfare facilities in need, participating in activities such as dementia prevention campaigns.
