View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Domestic medical IT service company EasyCareTech has partnered with AI medical specialist Lunit. Through this collaboration, they plan to commercialize AI medical technology and expand their business areas.
EasyCareTech announced on the 22nd that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lunit on the 21st. According to this agreement, EasyCareTech plans to lead the market by integrating AI medical technology into its on-premise hospital information system 'BestCare' and cloud-based solution 'Edge&Next.'
In particular, it is expected to create strong synergy effects in areas such as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), providing high-quality medical services to frontline medical staff and hospital users.
Previously, Lunit introduced its AI technology for analyzing chest X-rays and mammography images not only in Korea but also in medical institutions in Mexico, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and China. Last year, it was also named in the 'Digital Health 150' by market research firm CB Insights.
