Gyeonggi Office of Education Supports Social Organizations with 200 Million Won in Public Project Funding
[Asia Economy (Uijeongbu) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will provide a total of 200 million KRW in funding for social organization public projects this year. The maximum support per project is 10 million KRW.
The Gyeonggi Office of Education announced on the 21st that it will open applications for social organization subsidy support projects from the 22nd of this month until the 5th of next month.
The application fields include six areas: planning and promotion, student rights, student safety, alternative education, student and parent support, and communication and cooperation.
Eligibility requires nonprofit corporations and nonprofit private organizations related to education and academic affairs in the Gyeonggi area to have at least one year of public interest activity experience.

The Gyeonggi Office of Education will announce the selected recipients through its website in March. The selected organizations will carry out their projects from April to November.
