[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Samsung Display conducted its regular executive personnel appointments for this year on the 21st, promoting a total of 26 people, including 3 vice presidents.
On this day, Samsung Display promoted a total of 26 executives: 3 vice presidents, 5 senior vice presidents, 12 general managers, 2 masters, 1 senior professional advisor (senior vice president level), and 3 professional advisors (general manager level).
In this personnel appointment, Senior Vice Presidents Kim Beom-dong, Shin Jae-ho, and Lee Cheong were promoted to vice presidents. General managers Kim Sang-yong, Seon Ho, Yoo Jung-geun, Cha Ki-seok, and Choi Song-cheon were promoted to senior vice presidents. There were 12 promotions to general manager. Notably, this appointment saw the first-ever promotion of two female executives, Senior Manager Kim Seon-hwa and Manager Park Hyang-sook, to general manager. These female executives were recognized for their outstanding achievements and proven leadership.
Samsung Display stated, "Including 9 senior executives at the senior vice president level or above, we selected key personnel evenly across various divisions such as research and development, manufacturing technology, and sales & marketing," adding, "The promotions were centered on individuals who will lead the industry and drive continuous change and growth."
