AI 'Woongjin Smart All' Surpasses 20,000 Members... "Approximately 23 Billion KRW Revenue Impact"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 21st that its AI smart learning platform 'Woongjin SmartAll' surpassed 20,000 members just two months after its launch.
Woongjin SmartAll was launched in November last year. It is an AI learning platform for all elementary school subjects developed based on approximately 50 billion big data points. The company explained that surpassing 20,000 members corresponds to an estimated annual revenue of about 23 billion KRW.
The platform provides daily personalized learning tailored to each student across all elementary subjects including Korean, Math, Social Studies, and Science. It is composed of over 700 curriculum-linked required and general reading books, level-based English content, encyclopedias, and other content optimized for elementary school life.
The AI learning algorithm was developed by Kidaptive, an EdTech startup based in Silicon Valley, USA, and Woongjin ThinkBig’s own researchers. Unlike simple repetitive problem presentation, it selects only necessary problems suited to the learner’s level to improve learning efficiency and minimize time consumption.
Additionally, the 'AI Study Friend' character, designed to be friendly, carefully identifies bad study habits such as guessing answers, skipping questions, and ignoring the error notebook, and guides students toward proper study habits. It helps build a foundation for self-directed learning necessary for middle and high school courses.
