Seoul Gangseo-gu, Real Estate Brokerage Dispute Consultation Service
Providing Specialized Consultation in Collaboration with Real Estate Agencies
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) is partnering with licensed real estate agents to address residents' concerns.
Starting in January, the district announced it will operate a real estate brokerage dispute consultation desk to resolve questions about real estate transactions and prevent brokerage accidents.
At the real estate brokerage dispute consultation desk, residents can receive various consultations related to real estate, including conflict resolution between licensed real estate agents and clients, recommendations for reasonable brokerage fee rates, lease disputes between landlords and tenants, and starting a real estate brokerage business.
The consultants are 25 licensed real estate agents who have been operating real estate offices in the area for more than three years.
Recommended by the Gangseo-gu branch of the Korea Association of Licensed Real Estate Agents, the district appoints licensed real estate agents proficient in the Licensed Real Estate Agent Act and real estate brokerage work as consultants to operate the service.
The consultation hours are every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 PM to 4 PM. Residents wishing to consult can visit the Gangseo-gu Office Real Estate Information Division for same-day registration or make a reservation by phone at 2600-6497.
A district official said, "Last year, we achieved excellent results, including the nationwide top prize in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's cadastral surveying competition, the Seoul Creativity Award for proposal execution, and outstanding performance in complaint service improvement cases in cadastral administration. We will continue to strive for residents with the spirit of Mabu Jeongje."
