From now on, visitors to Songpa-gu Office can receive one-stop services from consultation to filing related taxes in one place.
The district had previously set up a separate real estate acquisition tax counter on the first floor of the main building of the district office and assigned three staff members to handle filing tasks exclusively to improve accessibility for residents.
However, since real estate acquisition tax rates vary depending on the cause and object of acquisition, and conditions for exemptions and non-taxation are complex, in-depth consultations are often required beyond simple filing.
Accordingly, to provide more specialized tax administrative services, the district established an integrated civil service office related to real estate acquisition tax and property tax on the 5th floor of the district office, starting operation from January 9.
Staff from the Taxation Division 1 provide one-stop services not only for simple tax filing and issuance of notices but also detailed consultations on exemption targets, conditions, and application methods.
Additionally, they focus on guiding changes in acquisition tax rates and exemption conditions effective this year. Visitors to the integrated civil service office can receive detailed information on changes in acquisition tax rates for paid housing transactions, exemption conditions for the recently increased rental housing, and frequently asked questions such as the criteria for determining a single household.
Telephone consultations are also available through Songpa-gu Office Taxation Division 1 (☎2147-2550). The office operates Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
