BTS's 'Black Swan' Tops iTunes in 93 Countries... Breaking Their Own Record
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] BTS's pre-release track from their 4th full album, "Black Swan," has topped the iTunes charts in 93 countries.
On the 18th, BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment announced that as of 9 a.m. that day, "Black Swan" ranked number one on the iTunes "Top Song" charts in 93 countries worldwide. This record is known to be the highest number of countries topping the chart in K-pop history.
Previously, BTS had topped the charts in 67 countries with the song "Boy With Luv." With this new song, BTS has broken their own record.
Meanwhile, "Black Swan" is one of the tracks included in the album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," which will be released on February 21, and was released ahead of the album.
