Toyota Provides Over 900 Million Won in Scholarships to High School Students Over the Past 15 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Toyota Motor Korea announced on the 17th that it held the 'Toyota Dream Plus' scholarship certificate awarding ceremony on the 16th at Jamsil Connect Two.
The 'Toyota Dream Plus Scholarship' is a social contribution activity in which Toyota Motor Korea, together with the Beautiful Foundation, selects high school students from financially disadvantaged families every year and provides a scholarship of 6 million KRW over three years. Since 2005, a total of 475 students have received scholarships totaling approximately 890 million KRW.
At the awarding ceremony, Nobuyuki Takemura, President of Toyota Motor Korea, said, "I hope the scholarship can be of some help in bringing you closer to your precious dreams."
