Loan Support of 200 Billion KRW for 'Gunsupum Saengsan' Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Yang Nak-gyu] The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced on the 17th that it will carry out the '2020 Defense Project Interest Subsidy Loan Program' worth 200 billion KRW for defense project participating companies and defense small and venture enterprises.
The interest subsidy loan program is a project where defense project participating companies can receive loans from DAPA's partner financial institutions for purposes such as research and development, facility investment, and export related to military supplies production, and DAPA supports most of the interest.
The interest subsidy loan program started in 2007. DAPA plans to prioritize support for companies creating jobs and developing Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
