Hanse Dream Donates Clothing Worth 2 Billion KRW to Children in South Sudan
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Hanse Dream, a leading domestic children's clothing company, announced on the 17th that it donated clothing worth a total of 2 billion KRW to children in South Sudan, Africa.
Hanse Dream stated, "As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, we decided to support children in South Sudan who are suffering in harsh conditions due to civil war and poverty in Africa."
The clothing donation ceremony held the previous day at the Hi Seoul Youth Hostel was attended by Yoon Jong-seon, Executive Director of Hanse Dream, Hwang Kyung-joo, Secretary General of the Korea Youth Federation, and Lim Heung-se, coach of the South Sudan national football team.
Since 2015, Hanse Dream has been helping overseas neighbors in difficult circumstances, including Africa, who have difficulty obtaining clothing through its donations.
South Sudan is a region where the temperature difference between day and night reaches 30 degrees Celsius, making clothing very important. Hanse Dream extended a helping hand by providing seasonal clothing from the children's clothing brands Curlysu and Moimoln as donation items.
Yoon Jong-seon, Executive Director of Hanse Dream's Management Support Headquarters, said, "Hanse Dream will continue to show interest and carry out donation activities for children in harsh environments regardless of borders or regions."
Meanwhile, Hanse Dream has been conducting the 'Love Briquette Sharing Campaign' annually since 2013 for marginalized neighbors, and plans to continue various overseas sharing activities, including this clothing support for children in South Sudan.
