On the morning of the 16th, Vice Chairman Chung posted a photo on his Instagram account wearing the 'NRF 2020' badge around his neck. The badge indicated his affiliation with Emart.
NRF is a retail exhibition held every January in the United States, attracting about 38,000 visitors from 99 countries worldwide, making it the world's largest global retail exhibition.
Earlier, from the 12th to the 14th (local time), Shinsegae Group affiliate Shinsegae I&C participated in NRF 2020 and showcased its retail tech solution 'CloudPOS' to the global market for the first time.
At this exhibition, Shinsegae I&C prominently featured 'CloudPOS.' 'CloudPOS' is a solution that provides POS (Point of Sale) technology, essential to the retail industry, as a cloud-based service.
