20s Woman Who Stole Men's Gold Ring Upon First Meeting Arrested by Police

The Gwangju Western Police Station announced on the 14th that they have apprehended and are investigating A (20) on suspicion of stealing jewelry from a man she met for the first time.
A is accused of stealing a pure gold ring worth approximately 730,000 won from B (24) at a motel in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, around 4:30 a.m. on the 7th.
According to the police, A committed the crime during their first meeting with B, whom she had known through social networking services (SNS).
A met B, who had come to Gwangju for a trip, drank together, stayed at a motel, and after B fell asleep, stole the gold ring and fled, but was caught by the police after a week.
During the police investigation, A admitted to the crime, saying, "It was an act driven by momentary greed."
