Ha Tae-kyung: "Jeong Un-cheon and Ji Sang-wook Will Participate in the Reform Committee Meeting"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The New Conservative Party has decided to participate in the Innovation Integration Promotion Committee (Hyuktongwi) meeting scheduled for the 14th. Assemblymen Jeong Uncheon and Ji Sang-wook will attend the meeting.
Ha Tae-kyung, the responsible representative of the New Conservative Party, held a press conference at the National Assembly Press Hall on the same day and stated, "As a result of the joint representative meeting, we have decided to participate in the Hyuktongwi meeting," adding, "Assemblymen Jeong Uncheon and Ji Sang-wook will attend."
He emphasized, "We will participate and discuss the roles and composition principles of Hyuktongwi that we have advocated for," and added, "The most important thing is that all matters must be resolved based on the three principles of conservative reconstruction proposed by the New Conservative Party and the six principles of Hyuktongwi that include these three principles. We will not agree to anything that contradicts them."
Ha, the responsible representative, particularly stressed the importance of the first principle among the six principles, which is 'Integration must be innovative integration,' and said, "The other five principles are also the founding spirit of the New Conservative Party. We will actively participate in the meeting."
Shortly after, Ha met with reporters and emphasized that the Liberty Korea Party must consult with the New Conservative Party before finalizing the public official nomination committee chairperson. He stated, "There must be innovative nominations, and under the principles of innovative nominations, the Liberty Korea Party and the New Conservative Party will consult at an appropriate time."
Regarding the Liberty Korea Party's statement that "Hyuktongwi is the single channel for integration," he responded, "As far as I know, the Liberty Korea Party has never said that." On the internal disagreements over integration, he said, "It is natural for various opinions to arise within our party in a democratic party," and added, "Even in that process, the party's official opinions are being harmoniously agreed upon."

Ha firmly stated that the target for party-to-party integration is only the Liberty Korea Party, but regarding the current Liberty Korea Party leader Hwang Kyo-ahn discussing integration with the Ahn Cheol-soo faction and Uri Party for Our Republic, he left room for possibility by saying, "If they willingly agree to the three principles of conservative reconstruction, the door for dialogue is open."
