Road Blocked and Traffic Disrupted by Excavator in Busan Gijang
Conflict Among Landowners, Factory Owners, and Residents Over Private Road Usage Fees
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Yoseop] At around 9:14 PM on the 12th, an excavator blocked traffic on the road in front of Daejeong Park Cemetery in Jeonggwan-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency on the 13th, the excavator blocked nearly half of the 6-meter-wide road with its body, leaving only enough space for one passenger car to pass. This incident did not cause any traffic congestion.
A police official stated, "It appears that the road owner, Mr. A, had his agent block the road after a dispute over road usage fees on private property between the landowner, factory owner, and residents failed to reach a smooth agreement."
