BNK Financial Group Supports Underprivileged Groups with 650 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] BNK Financial Group, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, has taken steps to help underprivileged groups through its affiliates Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank.
BNK Financial announced on the 13th that it will carry out the '2020 Lunar New Year Sharing Project' worth approximately 650 million KRW to help local underprivileged groups enjoy a happy holiday.
The traditional market gift certificate and table setting support project, which started in 2008 at Busan Bank, is currently being carried out through all BNK Financial affiliates to spread and practice a culture of sharing, with the cumulative donation amount reaching about 13.6 billion KRW to date.
On this day, Busan Bank delivered traditional market Onnuri gift certificates worth 400 million KRW at Busan City Hall to support underprivileged groups in the Busan area.
Busan Bank will also support traditional market gift certificates worth 25 million KRW each for the Gimhae and Yangsan areas, totaling 450 million KRW.
Gyeongnam Bank plans to support traditional market gift certificates worth 140 million KRW in the Gyeongnam area and 60 million KRW in the Ulsan area, totaling 200 million KRW.
