Nambu University Tops Employment Rates Among General Universities in Gwangju Area
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Nambu University (President Cho Seongsu) has been found to have the highest employment rate among general universities in the Gwangju area.
According to Nambu University on the 13th, an analysis of the 'Higher Education Institution Graduate Employment Statistics Survey' released by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Educational Development Institute on the 10th showed an employment rate of 72.5%.
This employment rate is significantly higher compared to the national average employment rate of 64.2% for four-year general universities and the Gwangju area average employment rate of 62.6% for four-year general universities during the same period.
Nambu University has consistently recorded high employment rates, with 68.5% in 2018 and 69.4% in 2017.
To improve the employment rate of enrolled students, Nambu University introduced a student competency enhancement system that systematically analyzes career counseling, career planning, and career management to support employment, which the university considers the result of these efforts.
